Dr. Chi Fung IP is a highly skilled general dentist at Smile Dental Care in Plainsboro, NJ, providing dedicated dental care for patients of all ages. Known for his gentle, precise approach, he is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health care.

Dr. IP serves as an attending dentist and Assistant Director of the General Practice Residency Program at Jersey City Medical Center’s Dental Department. This role keeps him actively involved in advanced clinical training and modern dental practices.

He earned his DMD degree from UMDNJ in 1999. Prior to dentistry, Dr. IP completed an impressive academic path in engineering, including a PhD from Dartmouth College, a master’s degree from Stanford University, and undergraduate studies at Caltech.

Outside of dentistry, he lives in Central New Jersey with his wife, who is a dental hygienist.
